Cultural Immersion

• I taught EFL (English as a Foreign Language) in private language schools in Korea, and Taiwan from 1997-2002.
• I studied Korean prior to the year I spent living in Seoul, Korea. Then, I moved to Taichung City, Taiwan knowing only 3 phrases- “hello, goodbye, thank you.” Three years later, I opened my own language school named Speakeasy. The whole experience was quite an education.
• I’m proud to be able to speak Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and English.
